A Place To Rest My Head
A Place To Rest My Head
I know a place where I can rest my head when my days get rough and when my days are beautiful.
That place is open 24/7 ready to take me in no matter the situation.
I know of this place after countless ups and downs in my journey towards building a life full of love, happiness, and acceptance.
She lets you lay your head on her chest but you will first roll around until you find the perfectly comfortable spot and when you do, she will run her fingers through your hair knowing that it calms you down.
She kisses you every now and then and at that moment you know she is thinking about you.
She is reliving a memory she shares with you. Sometimes you wish you could know which exact moment she is thinking about but most times you don’t mind not knowing.
Her thinking of you is enough. Her holding you is enough. In good times, bad times, and average times, her giving you a place to rest your head is more than enough encouragement for you to get back up and try again.
